ADVANCED SKIN TREATMENTS

DERMAPLANING, MESOTHERAPY & MICRONEEDLING

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a treatment that provides an effective and safe exfoliation of epidermis – there are no harsh chemicals used, and it can be performed even during pregnancy.

This treatment promotes deeper product penetration, it also helps to boost the effects of skincare products while making the skin look and feel smoother.

This procedure may also help reduce the appearance of acne scars.

The treatment removes facial hair – “peach fuzz” that can trap dirt and oils, so it is also recommended for problematic skins.

Regular Dermaplaning treatments can improve or eliminate superficial skin problems and create a more even skin tone.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique that involves the micro-injection of a specially prepared mixture of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, and other nourishing ingredients placed into the Mesoderm (just millimeters under the skin) to treat a problematic area.

It is suitable for skin rejuvenation, acne, acne scarring, alopecia, enlarged pores and improvement of hair re-growth.

Scalp Mesotherapy involves superficial injections of the scalp with substances which stimulate growth and prevent hair from falling out. Scalp mesotherapy is recommended in particular to patients who suffer from losing hair and alopecia.

Microneedling

Generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin.

The technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. This trauma prompts the derma, a deeper layer of skin, to rebuild.

Microneedling helps address many skin-related complaints, including: wrinkles, scarring, acne, alopecia, skin pigmentation issues, stretch marks, rosacea, loose skin, such as after weight loss or liposuction, rejuvenate the skin.

Treatment is finished off with LED light therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dermaplaning suitable fro my skin type?

All skin types are suitable for Dermaplaning. However, if you have active acne then it is advised to wait until it settles down before having the treatment done. This procedure is also the perfect and safe option for pregnant or nursing women who want exfoliation. This treatment is safe for the baby because it does not involve the use of any harsh chemicals.

Before the procedure, make sure to discuss your skin allergies or sensitivities with your aesthetician.

Does Dermaplaning hurt?

There is completely no pain or discomfort during the Dermaplaning, however it is best to relax and allow the practitioner to move and manipulate your head and face. This procedure removes the dead skin cells only on the surface of your skin, so you cannot feel it.

Are there any side effects?

There are no side effects of Dermaplaning treatment. Some clients may experience a slight reddness of the skin occurring following the procedure, but this is only temporary. Therefore, there is no swelling or pain associated with the treatment. Most clients say that they feel relaxed during the procedure.

Will my hair grow back thicker?

To illustrate – vellus hair and terminal hair are the two different types of hair that grow on the human body. Vellus hair is found on most body parts except for the lips, genital areas, palms, and soles. In contrast, terminal hairs grow on the scalp, underarms, and pubic area. The hair on your face has soft and fine vellus hair, which will grow back at the same texture, colour and speed as it was before your treatment.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime caused by having Dermaplaning treatment, so you can go on with your day straight after getting the procedure and apply makeup right away.
