All of my spring perfumes are light, airy, romantic, creamy, and floral. When the seasons change, I put my heavier gourmands and dramatic winter scents at the back of my shelf, just like I do with my clothes. I know I’ll miss some scents, but this is something I always look forward to at the start of a new season.
My gourmands are one thing that stays the same as I switch my scents from winter to spring. As a gourmand girlie, I love rich, boozy winter gourmands, but in the spring and summer, I switch to lighter, creamier versions that remind me of those seasons. Right now, I’m reaching for energetic tea scents, bright mango notes, and lactonic gourmands. These are some of the scents that people compliment me on the most. From $15, here are nine perfumes I’m going to buy this spring.
Royal Milk Eau de Parfum by Scents UnEarth’d
Royal Milk is my new favourite scent if you like creamy, milky scents. It has a warm, inviting, milky scent that reminds me of fuzzy warm blankets and shades of cream. It has notes of almond milk, blue chamomile, and vanilla honey. It doesn’t taste too sweet; instead, it’s soft and cosy. It stays on skin and clothes for hours and hours.
Etleé Amber and Vanilla Eau de Parfum
I call these kinds of perfumes “lotion scents” because they smell like putting on lotion after a hot shower. Etleé’s Vanilla and Amber has notes of vanilla, amber, sandalwood, coconut, and heliotrope. It smells like Jergens lotion, which is soft and creamy. It has a milky taste and a hint of sweetness, but not too much.
The Science-Led, Japanese Skincare Ritual Targeting Firmness, Tone And Radiance At Every Age
Tone by AMP Coconut Roll-on Fragrance Oil
Tone is a new body care line at Target, and all of its scents are unique and hard to find, which is not what you’d expect from a $15 product. I don’t like coconuts, so I didn’t think this would be my favourite scent, but it blew me away. It has notes of pear, jasmine, coffee, and sandalwood in addition to coconut, which makes it very unique and classy. It has a sexy, inviting quality that isn’t tied to a specific gender.
Coconut Milk Miu Miu Fleur de Lait Eau de Parfum
Mango is one of the most popular fragrance notes for spring and summer, right after strawberry. It’s bright, sweet, and tropical, but not too much of any of those things. What’s not to like? Miu Miu’s Fleur de Lait has notes of coconut milk, osmanthus, and mango that make it the perfect creamy, subtle gourmand. The notes make it sound like it would be sickly sweet, but it’s the perfect mix of rich, grounding, and expensive-smelling.
Belnu Bergamot Brio Perfume
Bergamot has a bright, uplifting citrus smell that is similar to limes and lemons. It smells great, is very popular in men’s and women’s scents, and is simply beautiful. This spiced, uplifting blend from Bergamot Brio combines it with lavender, pink pepper, and vetiver to make a scent that feels lively and luxurious in the spring. When I mix it with Scents UnEarth’d Royal Milk Eau de Parfum, I get the most beautiful creamy, citrussy scent that makes me feel both calm and strong.

House of Brandt London Fog Perfume
The smell of London Fog reminds me of the first day of spring after a long, hard winter. It’s green, full of life, and bubbly, with hints of tea, milk, and honey in the dry down. You’ll love this if you like fresh, citrussy smells. The subtle tea note gives it such a high-end finish that I know it’s not like any other scent you’ve tried before.
